education in crisis
Our volunteer teams work with asylum seekers to build resilience, develop skills and provide psychosocial support tailored to women and youth.
filling critical gaps
Our teams are on the ground in Greece responding where its needed most. We act rapidly to identify and fill gaps in education services across the country.
a welcoming place
We are appalled at the conditions asylum seekers continue to face in reception camps and urban environments. Our spaces offer an alternative.
meeting basic needs
Our education programmes are complimented by services that address basic needs: warmth, safety, nutrition and sanitation. Our centres provide a range of services, including hot meals and showers.
We work closely with local communities to foster long-term support. We advocate for integration, support and inclusion for all.
Our programmes and projects are led by those accessing them. We build the capacity of women and youth to teach classes, manage centres and gain vocational skills.
building for the future
As the refugee crisis in Greece reaches its fourth year, we remain committed to finding responsible, long term solutions that develop civil society.
